Dear Friends,We are excited to announce the book we have selected for our next book club!
My Life on the Road by Gloria Steinem
We will be reading this over the next few months and sharing our thoughts on this wonderful woman's life.
Why this book?
It is certainly a time in our country where we are all paying more attention to politics no matter what side of the aisle you sit on. These current times have us looking to positive role models for humanity.
Specifically, we are interested in Gloria's reflections on conversation and collaboration.
Both of which are an art and gift.
We will be sharing our reflections on the first three chapters later on this month. Here is an excerpt from Gloria's websiteabout the book:
