Vision ReVision 2011-15

The Vision/ReVision project started in 2010 when we began our website.  We designed this project to keep in regular contact about our studio work. The work is a digital call and response. The “Vision” is a photograph documenting what is inspiring us. The “ReVision” is a mixed media piece of art responding to one another’s Vision.  Laura responds to Tina’s Vision and Tina responds to Laura’s Vision.  

To “read” the work below, view it in columns and rows. If viewing this on your computer (ideal), the four columns are labeled at the top with the author of the work. Each pair on the left goes together as do the pairs on the right. There are two pairs in each row. If viewed on your mobile device, this changes to one pair for each row. Deep in our letters on this website is our writing for this call and response. There are over 200 call and response pairs. This work was the inspiration for our next collaborative project where we took it off the digital space and created original pieces of art we called “The Collective” that we mailed to one another through the US Postal Service.
