Asheville 2018
Hello Friends!
We have recently come back from a refreshing trip to Asheville, North Carolina. We made a short video for you to see how we spent our days. This time away in the woods gave us an opportunity to look at the last two years of work of our mail art collaborative project "The Collective".
We now see this project as needing a few more years of development before we bring this work together to share with our larger communities (a traveling exhibition and potential book with our letters is brewing!).
The juicy stuff we want to share is about collaboration, correspondence, friendship, and how to sustain long-term projects within a full life. We went to the Biltmore where we saw Dale Chihuly's glass installations, expansive gardens, the Vanderbilt's extraordinary house, and the winery.
There is so much to share about that one day so we are making another video that we will have that out in the next week or so.
