We had some glistening snow here in the North this weekend~a wonderland of icy delight which blanketed the remnants of my once vibrantly blue hydrangeas. My good friend Brigitte travelled down from NH to take my Art & Affirmations workshop and Saturday (so honored she would come so far). We had two nights and days of creativity, catching up over some lovely vino and even a little “play time” tromping about all bundled up outside with our cameras. As I try to navigate my new camera I played around with my depth of field as well as the new camera bag app I purchased. It is currently on sale and you will LOVE LOVE LOVE it as much as ME! The snow creates a totally different environment and I have been enjoying looking at it with fresh eyes.
Thinking of you as you start your new semester at the college. Good luck with your new class and students!
We are having an ice storm as I am writing this right now. This is very rare and I hope our trees will make it through alright. All schools have been canceled and we are staying in today. This is a photo I just took of my crepe myrtle in my front yard. I sure hope this is not the weather when you come to visit in a few weeks!
