This is a picture of my “famous” orange champagne punch. It is my first time making it since moving to CT. To my delight it was a BIG hit with not a drop left over from two and a half batches! It was a always a favorite tradition of mine to make at my parents house for Christmas Eve. I love adorning the punch bowl in a wreath of fresh greenery, candles and flowers. New Year’s Eve was spent with family and friends at our house this year. We embraced the unusually warm evening by recreating our outdoor summer living space and making a big fire. I had the most magical night disco dancing out on our deck, around the fire and even in the kitchen! Perfect way to kick of the New Year! Sending loving wishes to you and all of our friends here. xoLaura
It just occurred to me that I have not posted pictures of my kids here on the blog. Having spent two weeks on our holiday break it seems fitting to post this picture of our family clown. Our youngest keeps the funny going around here. His recent funny thing was a dance while he sang “I’m a little boy with a big attitude!”. All that in a little six year old. As I told you last night on the phone, my plan is to laugh and have more fun this year. My hope is that you all seek out a lot more fun and laughter too in 2011.
