Tina and Laura’s Vision for the week:

Laura and Tina’s ReVision for the week:

Dear Tina,
Looking for INDIGO this week has been more of a challenge than Photoshop! Just as I was getting desperate I noticed the shadows merrily dancing in the sunlight showcasing, yes you guessed it~INDIGO. New England has a special quality of light that becomes even more robust this time of year where the days are shorter. In Photoshop I changed the saturation to a cool blue/violet and then posterized the whole image, accenting the shadows. Having just come out of the woods I couldn’t help but think of Robert Frost‘s poem “The Road Not Taken” so thought I would share it as it is so fitting for this lovely New England day. xoLaura
The Road Not Taken
By Robert Frost

Dear Laura,
Your Vision this week reminded me of the layers of tree bark. I wonder if that material in the water was plant material from all the trees and plants letting go of their foliage for the winter. Perhaps the tide water churned them into a pulp. At any rate is is beautiful. My ReVision is of a large cypress tree that is hundreds of years old. Imagine the stories this tree could tell about how the world has changed in the last few centuries.
