“The space we are in tells a story. Every space we are in is the stage
which we play off our life.” ~Tina Seelig

Hello Sweet T,
Your last letter on creativity was a welcome break from my very long task list. I have been at the studio REALLY late the past few nights which I totally anticipated after having been out of town last week for the holiday. Although I am tired I get my groove on and really like planning and creating a welcoming space for my guests. I just wish it didn’t take me HOURS to make decisions on how I will set everything up~ha! Some things will never change!

Maria and I have some wonderful things planned. She loves to cook and has some really lovely, unexpected things for us to share Friday night. My parents are coming down for an overnight so they can be here for the Open Studio. I am always amazed how supportive they are. My heart is full just thinking about their visit as it has been WAY too long since I have seen them! I only wish they didn’t have to leave the next day as it would be nice to have some quiet time with them as well. I know my mom is baking something wonderful that will be “worth the calories” I can’t wait for!

I started setting up a cute little nook to showcase our work that I think will serve us well, giving our guests a first hand look at some of our original pieces. They look so different in person, don’t they? I am looking forward to the mail today and receiving your package of goodies! I know how hard you worked on all of our new prints and I really appreciate it. I swooned over all your designs for our backings, raffle and upcoming events and feel very proud to share it. I am also really proud of all our hard work the past few months with our website and “freshened up” Etsy shop! Getting excited to launch it soon with all our new work! Okay, that is all for now. I couldn’t sleep and have been up since 3:00 this morning and it is now 5:00am! Brett will be getting up soon and I will have to start crack a lack in’ on my day. I will write more about yesterdays letter when my head is more clear.
love ya! Laura
p.s. I really enjoyed that Tina Seelig video you shared the other day! VERY cool!

Looking lovely! Hope you’re breathing and enjoying the holiday decorating….
Thank you sweet Kathy! :)
